Is it forbidden to go with the family to the beach?

There is no impediment to a man going with his family for an outing to the beach or elsewhere, so long as there are no forbidden acts, such as looking at what is unlawful to look at, or listening to what is unlawful to listen to. Women, when they go out, must cover themselves with the legal (Shariah-compliant) .
