How can one reconcile fatwas No. 47206 and No. 9116 and the two hadiths mentioned therein, and does one abrogate the other?

The hadiths that prohibit a woman from disposing of her wealth without her husband's permission are weak. Even if they were authentic, they would indicate recommendation, not obligation. If they were to signify obligation, they would be contradicted by hadiths with stronger chains of narration and greater numbers, such as women donating their wealth when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, encouraged them to give charity. The preferable interpretation, assuming the authenticity of those hadiths, is that this falls under the category of recommendation.
