How is inheritance divided among the deceased's heirs: one full brother and two daughters?

If the deceased leaves behind only two daughters and a full brother, the two daughters receive two-thirds as a prescribed share, based on Allah's saying: "And if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two thirds of what he left." (An-Nisa: 11), and based on what was authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he gave the two daughters of Sa'd ibn Ar-Rabi' two-thirds. The remainder goes to the full brother by way of asabah (agnatic relationship), based on the Prophet's saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "Give the prescribed shares to those entitled to them, and what remains is for the closest male." The inheritance is divided into three shares: two shares for the two daughters (one share for each), and one share for the full brother. It is recommended to consult the Sharia courts regarding inheritance matters to investigate and ensure there are no other heirs, wills, debts, or rights that take precedence over the heirs' rights.
