However, if a woman is compelled to seek treatment from a man, there is no sin, based on the Almighty’s saying: "But whoever is forced, neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], there is no sin upon him," and His saying: "And He has detailed for you what He has forbidden you, except what you are compelled to." Therefore, if no female anesthesiologist is available and the wife is in a state of necessity, it is permissible for a male doctor to treat her, provided her husband or another woman is present to prevent seclusion.
