Is one who prays, recites the Quran, performs night vigils, listens to the Quran, and cries out of devotion, yet commits sins that pain and trouble him, considered a hypocrite?

Your feeling of pain and distress due to sins is a sign of faith, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever is pleased by his good deed and grieved by his evil deed, that is the believer." This is unlike the state of the hypocrite who does not care about his sins. The believer is he who rejoices in his good deeds and grieves over his evil deeds.
