Is the wife considered sinful for what she did to her husband by threatening him to choose between her and his second wife, which led to the divorce of both wives? And how can she rectify her mistake? And what is the sin of the husband for not being just between the two wives?

A wife inciting her husband to divorce her co-wife is reprehensible, unjust, and forbidden, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "It is not lawful for a woman to ask for the divorce of her sister in order to empty her plate, for she will only have what has been decreed for her." And a wife's request for divorce for herself is forbidden unless there is an excuse, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Any woman who asks her husband for a divorce without any strong reason, the scent of Paradise will be forbidden to her." It is obligatory to repent to Allah, and not to interfere in the husband's decision, or spoil his life, or prevent him from returning to his divorced wife, while being wary of the consequences of injustice.
