To what extent is the hadith true which mentions that the stars were created for only three purposes? And can reading horoscope predictions be a reason for lack of success in life? And are repentance and seeking forgiveness sufficient to overcome this sin and restore success?

"The repentance of anyone who repents from any sin, even major shirk, is accepted by Allah. No sin is too great for His forgiveness. The sincere penitent has his sins forgiven. Allah Almighty says: 'Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'' (Quran 39:53) And the one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin, and will not be punished for it in this world or the Hereafter. As for Qatadah's statement, 'and he lost his share,' it means he squandered his portion of life by engaging in what did not concern him."
