Is shaking hands with female relatives who are not mahram due to embarrassment considered persistence in sin, and is the embarrassment that leads one to do it shirk that expels one from the faith, making a rival to Allah?

Shaking hands with a non-mahram (definition) woman is forbidden, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "For one of you to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle is better for him than to touch a woman who is not permissible for him." And his saying: "I do not shake hands with women." And Aisha's saying: "The hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) never touched the hand of a woman." The embarrassment one might imagine does not justify it; rather, it is obligatory to refrain from shaking hands with women and to explain its impermissibility. Praiseworthy shyness prevents falling into forbidden acts. What was mentioned is feared to contain persistence in sin, but it does not lead one out of the fold of Islam.
