What is the validity of the following statement from a doctrinal and legal perspective: "There are two plantings that Allah loves: the planting of trees, and the planting of impact. If you plant trees, you gain shade and fruit. And if you plant good impact, you reap the love of Allah, then of people"?

This saying is neither a Hadith nor transmitted from the Salaf (pious predecessors). It can be interpreted in a valid way if it aligns with the texts. Not every planting is loved by Allah. Rather, planting trees is praiseworthy if it benefits the planter or the Muslims and is accompanied by a good intention. As it is said: "There is no Muslim who plants a tree or sows a crop, and a bird, human, or animal eats from it, but it will be a charity for him." As for the idea that Allah loves whoever plants a good legacy, this is true provided the intention is sincere for Allah's sake, for Allah loves those who bring benefit to His servants. And the idea that people love whoever Allah loves is true and consistent with the Hadith: "When Allah loves a servant, He calls Jibreel: 'Indeed, Allah loves so-and-so, so love him.' So Jibreel loves him. Then Jibreel calls out to the inhabitants of the heavens: 'Indeed, Allah loves so-and-so, so love him.' So the inhabitants of the heavens love him. Then acceptance is placed for him on earth."
