Should I pray Tahiyat al-Masjid (the prayer for greeting the mosque) if I perform the regular Sunnah prayers at home?

It is legislated for whoever enters the mosque to pray two rak'ahs as a salutation to the mosque, regardless of whether he prayed the regular supererogatory prayers at home or not, due to the generality of the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "If any one of you enters the mosque, let him pray two prostrations before he sits down." The preponderant opinion is that the prohibition of supererogatory prayers after Fajr does not include supererogatory prayers with a reason, such as the salutation to the mosque.
