What should we do if the microphone is unclear in the women's prayer area, which is separate from the men's, and we are unable to follow the Imam? And what is the ruling on our prayer if we omit a rak'ah, thinking that the Imam is still standing, or if we sit for the final tashahhud in the third rak'ah? And what are the resulting implications regarding the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw) or completing the prayer with the Imam?

If the Imam's voice is completely cut off, then the intention to separate [from the congregational prayer] is obligatory, and the prayer is completed individually. If the voice is cut off and then returns, and confusion arises that prevents discerning the missed rak'ah before the next one is missed, then the missed rak'ah is abandoned, and one follows the Imam, then the missed rak'ah is performed after the Imam says the taslim (definition).

What the sisters did by standing and then bowing is correct, God willing. Al-Fatiha is waived if they catch the Imam while he is bowing, and they are not required to perform the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud (definition) as-sahw). Whoever prays Dhuhr or Asr with three rak'ahs, their prayer is invalid and they must repeat it.
