Is it obligatory to dispose of perfumes that contain alcohol, given that they are deemed pure, and knowing that my mother asks for them and may become angry if I do not give them to her?

Whoever says that alcoholic perfumes are impure analogizes them to wine, which many scholars deem impure. As for whoever considers wine to be pure, they would consider perfumes to be pure a fortiori.

It is not permissible to destroy perfumes as long as the questioner is convinced of their purity, because they are valuable property with benefit, and wasting money is prohibited. If the mother wants to use them and does not consider them impure, then give them to her to please her and to avoid wasting wealth.
