The answer

"Applying artificial nails is not considered the prohibited type of 'وصل' (joining/extension). However, it is disallowed due to the harm it inflicts on the nails and its deviation from the natural human disposition (fitra).

As for using nail polish or nail stickers, there is no harm in it, provided the following conditions are met: 1. That their use does not cause proven harm. 2. That one does not adorn oneself with them and display them to non-mahram men. 3. That they are removed before performing ablution (wudu') and ritual bathing (ghusl) if they form a layer that prevents water from reaching the nail."
