What is the Shar'i (Islamic legal) and fiqhi (juristic) ruling on the "Ashraf al-Mahdiyyah" group, which denies the humanity of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), exaggerates in its love for him and the Awliya' Allah (saints), and holds حضرات (Sufi gatherings) and celebrations for the mawlids (birthdays) of Awliya', involving both men and women?

Exaggeration in loving the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the saints to the point of exceeding their human status is forbidden by Islamic law. This is what destroyed those before us. Denying the prophethood of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, contradicts the clear texts of revelation. Allah Almighty says: "Say, 'I am only a man like yourselves, to whom revelation is vouchsafed.'" Celebrating mawlids (birthdays of the Prophet or saints) is an innovated bid‘ah that was not known to the Companions.
