Does one who stays between Maghrib and Isha in the mosque get the reward of one who is stationed on the frontier (murabit) in the path of Allah, and attain the great reward like the fasting, praying one whose deeds do not cease until the Day of Resurrection?

Waiting for prayer in the mosque carries great reward, but one who waits for prayer in the mosque does not attain the reward of a murabit (one who guards the frontiers) in the path of Allah Almighty. The reward for ribat (guarding) in the path of Allah is immense. Guarding for a day and a night is better than fasting and praying for a month. If the murabit dies, his deeds continue to be recorded for him, his provision continues to be given to him, and he is protected from the trial of the grave. Every deceased person's deeds are sealed except for the murabit, whose deeds continue to grow until the Day of Resurrection. And guarding for a day in the path of Allah is better than the world and all that is in it, and it is better than a thousand days in any other station.
