Is taking financial and living decisions that one's parents do not approve of considered disobedience to them, even if these decisions are necessary for the son and do not affect the parents?

One must be dutiful and kind to one's parents and obey them in what is right. However, if their interference in the son's affairs leads to harm or corruption, then obedience to them in that matter is not obligatory after attempting to convince them, because that which harms the son is not among what is considered "right" in which obedience is due. This is also based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Obedience is only in what is right." This is not considered disobedience if the son treats them well, spends on them, and provides them with their needs. It is the son's right to manage his properties and marry without this being considered an act of disobedience.
