Is it permissible to marry a female-to-male (FTM) transgender individual who is able to conceive, or an intersex individual born with this condition, provided they have repented and stopped hormonal treatment, in order to fulfill the needs of a Muslim man?
The male afflicted with homosexual tendencies must fear Allah and cure his inclination by lowering his gaze, performing abundant prayers and remembrance (), and hastening to marry. Gender reassignment is not permissible for someone whose male or female organs are complete, because it is a alteration of Allah's creation. Rather, surgical treatment is permissible to reveal hidden organs or to strengthen the original creation for someone born with unmanifested organs or who is intersex. The woman who has transitioned to a male must repent and return to her female nature. It is not permissible for you to marry her until after her repentance and her appearance as a female. You must distance yourself from her due to her illness and psychological abnormality. You should abandon this matter and marry as soon as you are able.
