Is it permissible for the groom to include the bridal-gift gold (dhahab ash-shabakah), the gold of the deceased mother of the bride, and the gold of the bride's brothers (gifts) in the list of movable assets?

Writing a marriage inventory (qa'imat al-zawaj) is not a condition for marriage. Rather, it has become customary in some countries to document the spouses' possessions and to prevent disputes. The gold given to the wife by her husband, or by her mother, or her brothers, is her property, and it must be recorded in the inventory if this is the established custom.
