Is the wife's gold written in the list of marital assets?

All praise is due to Allah. We clarify that writing a list of movables (furniture and belongings) is not a condition for the validity of the marriage contract. Rather, its purpose is to document possessions between the spouses. If the movables are part of the Mahr (dowry), then they are the wife's right. If they are not, then they belong to their owner. Regarding gold, if it is owned by the wife, there is no need to write it in the list to avoid confusion. If it is written, it should be noted that it was brought by the wife. If the gold was bought by the husband, it can be written down with clarification as to whether it is part of the Mahr or not. All of this is to prevent disputes.
