If the pictures are safe from the gaze of strangers, then there is no harm in them; otherwise, they must be removed. As for a wife who insists on wearing makeup for strangers, the husband should advise her by instilling fear of Allah in her and reminding her of Him, and by explaining the legal ruling to her. If she does not return to righteousness, then it is preferable that he divorce her.
