Is it permissible for me to use a school certificate that does not reflect my true educational level, and was obtained as a "courtesy," to apply for a bus driver position, knowing that the nature of the work is limited to driving and I possess a driver's license for this purpose?

A Muslim should be truthful in all circumstances, so he should only include valid, non-forged documents in his job application file. This is based on the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) saying: "You must be truthful, for truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise." If the certificate in question is forged, it is not permissible to submit it. However, if it is not forged but its academic level is low, it is preferable not to add it to the file unless there is an urgent need.
