What is the ruling on supplicating with the words: "O Allah, just as You have humbled me in this world, grant me honor in the Hereafter," and is it permissible to supplicate for annihilation and not to be recreated after death, or to supplicate for not marrying a human in Paradise?

It is not permissible to supplicate with phrases such as "You have humiliated me in this world," as they contradict Allah's honoring of humanity. A Muslim should not imitate Christians in such speech. Furthermore, supplicating for non-resurrection and non-marriage in Paradise contradicts what Allah has decreed to occur, for He has sworn by the resurrection, and it is established that all inhabitants of Paradise will have spouses. The inhabitants of Paradise will have whatever their souls desire, and what Allah does not desire for them, their souls will not desire.
