How can merchandise (a computer) purchased with ill-gotten money be analyzed to become permissible?

The sacredness of wealth is tied to the obligation (dhimmah), not to the object itself. Therefore, the equivalent amount of the unlawfully acquired wealth must be extracted and returned to its owner if known. Otherwise, it should be spent on charitable causes and public welfare. There is no objection to benefiting from the device purchased with it.
