The answer

It is not forbidden to benefit from a device purchased with commingled money. Repentance is obligatory, and the unlawful money must be returned to its owner if he is known. If money acquired through unlawful means is mixed with lawful money, the unlawful portion must be separated, and the lawful portion becomes one's possession. If you despair of knowing the owners of the unlawful money, then it should be given in charity on their behalf or spent on the welfare of Muslims. It is obligatory to abandon obsessive thoughts and turn away from them.
