Is it permissible to shave a sparse and incomplete beard to improve its appearance, and what is the method for lengthening it, and how does one respond to those who cite the hadith, "Indeed, Allah does not look at your forms but rather looks at your hearts," to justify shaving it?

The two sides of the beard are linguistically part of the beard, and it is not permissible to shave them to improve their appearance or to make them denser. And whoever argues with the hadith (definition), "Indeed, Allah does not look at your forms or your wealth..." to permit shaving the beard, he is striking some hadiths against others; for the one who said this hadith is the same one who commanded the growing of the beard, and the hadith itself is an argument against them, not for them; because it necessitates righteous deeds emanating from the heart.
