Does the two-rak'ah prayer in the hadith: "Whoever prays Fajr in congregation, then sits remembering Allah Almighty until the sun rises, then prays two rak'ahs, will have a reward like that of a complete, complete, complete Hajj and 'Umrah" require it to be performed in the mosque, or is it permissible to perform it at home after remaining in the mosque until sunrise?

The apparent meaning of the hadiths indicates that the reward for sitting in the prayer area (musalla) engaging in remembrance (dhikr) until sunrise, and then praying two rak'ahs, is tied to the descriptions mentioned therein. Therefore, one should strive to fulfill these conditions. It is hoped that this reward will also be attained by whoever prays these two rak'ahs at home, for Al-Qari mentioned that the reward is obtained by one who leaves their prayer area or returns home, provided they remain engaged in dhikr until sunrise.
