It is not permissible to bury a disbeliever—whether a People of the Book or an idolater—in Muslim graveyards. This is what the jurists have agreed upon and what the practice of the Ummah has been. Therefore, a Christian wife cannot be buried in Muslim graveyards if she dies upon her religion, even if it is permissible to bury her in Muslim lands.
