Is stolen water or water that a dog has licked ever unfit for purification?

The types of water with which ritual purification is not valid are:

1. Water that has been mixed with an impurity and whose characteristics (color, smell, or taste) have been altered by it.

2. A small quantity of water that has been touched by an impurity but has not been altered by it, and water into which a dog has lapped.

3. Usurped or stolen water (according to the well-known opinion of the Hanbalis).

4. Water that has been used for an obligatory purification (according to the majority of scholars).

5. Adulterated water that has lost its unrestricted description, such as rosewater, or water that has been mixed with a pure substance and whose name has changed, or water in which a pure substance has been cooked and whose characteristics have changed.

6. Water that has been mixed with a pure substance from which one could have refrained, and whose characteristics have been altered by it (according to the majority of scholars).
