There is no objection to creating a gaming website and profiting from it financially, provided that the games are free of শরী‘আ-prohibited elements such as music, images of unveiled women, gambling, and games of chance. Players must also guard their time and not waste it. Islam, moreover, takes into account human nature and its love for permissible play and recreation. Indeed, the Abyssinians used to play with their spears in the mosque in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
