It is permissible to perform al-Layl (night vigil prayer) on a seashore or any pure place, based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "The whole earth has been made for me a mosque (or a place of prayer) and its dust a means of purification. So, wherever a man of my Ummah may be when the time for prayer comes, let him pray."
