The child nursed by a woman becomes her son, and all those forbidden to her biological children are forbidden to him. Therefore, it is not forbidden for the nursing woman to marry the nursed child's father, brother, paternal uncle, or maternal uncle. Likewise, it is not forbidden for her husband to marry the nursed child's mother, sister, paternal aunt, or maternal aunt. It is permissible for the nursing woman's children and her husband's children to marry the nursed child's brothers and sisters. Consequently, it is not forbidden for you to marry your paternal cousin whose brother was nursed by your mother, but it is forbidden for you to marry someone who was nursed by your mother, or whose mother nursed you, with a prohibited suckling.
