Linguistically, the term "sky" (سماء) is applied to everything that is high and elevated. As for Paradise, some parts of it are higher than others, so it is correct to call the parts that are higher "sky" in relation to what is beneath them. Paradise also has a real sky, and Allah knows best its color. Thus, the sky is everything that is above you, and the earth is everything upon which you settle. And it is a definite matter that Paradise and Hellfire have a sky and an earth in this sense.
