Is the love of Islam stemming from the observance of God's commands and the avoidance of His prohibitions, or is the observance of God's commands and the avoidance of His prohibitions stemming from the love of Islam? And is the love of Islam and its propagation ingrained in the heart of every Muslim, even if they are far from the religion?

Love for Allah, His Messenger, and His religion is fundamental in the heart of every Muslim. It is the basis of all inward acts of worship and a condition for "Lā ʾilāha ʾillā-llāh" (There is no god but Allah). The love for Allah and obedience to Him are directly proportional: an increase in one leads to an increase in the other, because faith increases with obedience and decreases with disobedience. Acts of the limbs affect the heart, and acts of the heart affect the limbs. The soundness of the entire body originates from the soundness of the heart.
