Is it permissible to suffice with one meal a day after Iftar, given that dinner at school is two and a half hours before the Maghrib call to prayer?

If the sighting of the Ramadan (definition) crescent is confirmed, fasting becomes obligatory. Food can be provided and eaten at night or for suhoor (definition). Studying is not so strenuous as to prevent fasting, and exercise can be delayed until night or performed during the day, provided it does not weaken one's ability to fast. If one is unable to complete the fast and fears harm, it is permissible to break the fast, but making up for it later is obligatory. Eating one meal at night is sufficient, and it is best to hasten breaking the fast (iftar (definition)) and delay the predawn meal (suhoor).
