Is one who combines prayers sinful if he does not pray Jumu'ah due to the nature of his work, which requires continuous monitoring, and he cannot find another job?

Prayer is of great importance in Islam; it is the second pillar after the two testimonies and the first thing a servant will be questioned about on the Day of Resurrection. Severe warnings have been mentioned for those who are negligent with it. Allah Almighty says: "So woe to those who pray [But] who are heedless of their prayer" (Quran 107:4-5), and He says: "Then succeeded them later generations who neglected prayers and pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil" (Quran 19:59).

Maintaining prayer is achieved by performing it at the beginning of its time. If your job necessitates a strong need that prevents you from performing every prayer on time, then it is permissible for you to combine prayers that share a time (Dhuhr with Asr, and Maghrib with Isha) according to some scholars, such as the Hanbalis. However, it is not permissible to combine Dhuhr, Asr, and Maghrib [all together].

It is also permissible for you to be absent from Friday prayer if attending it would cause you to lose your job, because fear for one's wealth is a permissible excuse for this. You must search for a job in a place where you can establish your religious rituals and maintain your prayers. It is not permissible to remain in this situation except out of dire necessity. Remember that sustenance is predestined, and whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect. It is important to note that residing and working in lands of disbelief is not permissible except under specific conditions.
