What is the ruling on the names "Wisaal" and "Awaatif"? May Allah reward you.

The Sunnah is to choose a good name. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to change an ugly name to a good one, because names have indications regarding their bearers. Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned that good names inspire their bearers to act in accordance with them, while ugly names inspire their bearers to act in accordance with them. It is disliked to be named with names that carry lustful meanings, such as: Wisal, Awatif, Ahlam, Abeer, Fitnah, Nihad, Shadia, because they provoke passion or denote meanings that are inappropriate.
