Is Zakat calculated from the amount that was given to the mother and sister, knowing that the remaining amount is used to cover life's necessities?

Zakat becomes obligatory on wealth if it reaches the nisab (minimum threshold) and a hawl (full lunar year) passes over it, even if it is saved for expenses. If the husband gives money to his mother or sister with the intention of zakat, and they are among those eligible to receive it, this is sufficient for him, as paying zakat in advance is permissible according to most scholars after the cause for its obligation arises. However, if he gives the money without the intention of zakat, it is not sufficient for him, and he must pay zakat with the intention when the hawl completes, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, actions are by intentions."
