Did Moses (peace be upon him) pray in his grave as mentioned in Sahih Muslim?

The Hadith (I passed by Moses on the night of my Ascension [Mi'raj] at the Red Dune, and he was standing, praying in his grave) indicates several matters:

1. The location of Moses' grave: It is located on the road to Jerusalem, at "the Red Dune," a vague description, perhaps for the wisdom of concealing its location so that it would not be worshipped. 2. The life of prophets after death: The Hadith indicates that prophets are alive in their graves, a special life that differs from the life of other deceased individuals. This is further affirmed by other Ahadith, such as those concerning the Isra and Mi'raj. 3. Moses' prayer in his grave: This is a real prayer, but it is not an obligation; rather, it is a blessing, an honor, and a special favor from Allah to them, as their beloved worship has been preserved for them. 4. The nature of the life in the Barzakh (interim realm): This is a matter of the unseen, the essence of which the intellect cannot grasp or compare to worldly life. Prophets are alive in their graves with a life that does not resemble life in this world and is not subject to its laws. Only Allah, the Exalted, knows its true nature.
