The answer

The excrement of cats, whether urine or feces, is considered impure by the majority of scholars. If an abaya passes over dry cat feces and picks up some of its dust, it becomes pure by passing over a clean place afterwards. However, if the cat feces are wet, the part of the abaya that comes into contact with it becomes impure and cannot be purified except with water, according to most scholars. Some meticulous scholars, however, are of the opinion that it also becomes pure by passing over a clean place. The bottom of trousers does not become impure merely by doubting that impurity has transferred to it, because the original state is purity, and it does not change from that except with certainty. One must beware of falling into obsessive doubts and turn away from them.
