One who openly commits sins deserves God's punishment if he does not repent or if God does not forgive him. He is more blameworthy than one who does not openly commit sins, because in addition to his sin, he publicizes his disobedience and engages in the actions of the impudent, confirming the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "All of my Ummah will be forgiven except for those who commit sins openly."
