The answer

We ask Allah Almighty to grant you well-being from the whispers that have afflicted you. We advise you, and everyone afflicted by this ailment, to turn away from these whispers and not pay them any attention, and to be extremely careful not to indulge in them, as that brings distress and misery. What you are doing by prolonging the ghusl (ritual bath) and exaggerating in covering the body more than necessary is considered blameworthy over-scrupulousness and extremism, and an indulgence in the whispers. So, you must cover your entire body with water without exaggeration, and if a part of your body dries during the ghusl, it does not invalidate it.
