When is it permissible to speak about a Muslim in their absence without it being considered backbiting?

Gheebah (backbiting) is to mention your Muslim brother with what he dislikes of faults and defects. However, there are situations that scholars have exempted, in which it is permissible to mention a Muslim with what he dislikes, based on a [recognized] benefit. Among these situations are: seeking justice from an oppressor, seeking a fatwa, warning Muslims against people of evil and suspicion, seeking consultation regarding marrying a person, entering into partnership with them, or living next to them, mentioning a person who openly commits sin with what they openly commit, and identifying a person if the intention is not to disparage them.
