What is the expiation for a mother aborting her fetus in the third month for fear of its disability, knowing that she fasts two months as expiation for that?

It is not permissible to abort a fetus for fear of disability. The woman who aborts her fetus must continue her fasting and pay the Diyah (blood money) for the fetus, which is one-tenth of her mother's Diyah, unless the guardians of the blood forgive it.
