The hadith about the best prayer is the long supplication. It was narrated by Ahmad and Muslim from the hadith of Jabir. In this issue, there are three schools of thought: the first sees that prolonging the prostration and increasing the bowing and prostration is better; the second sees that prolonging the standing is better; and the third sees that they are equal. Ishaq bin Rahwayh said that increasing the bowing and prostration is better during the day, and prolonging the standing is better at night. The prayer of the Prophet, peace be upon him, was balanced; if he prolonged the standing, he prolonged the bowing and prostration and vice versa. It has been confirmed that he sometimes prolonged his prayers during the day, such as the Duha and eclipse prayers.
