What about one who died leaving a father, a mother, and two brothers?

The mother receives one-sixth due to the presence of siblings, based on the Almighty's saying: "But if he has brothers [and sisters], the mother will have a sixth." The remainder goes to the father by way of ta'sib (residuary heirship), as he is the closest male relative, according to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Give the prescribed shares to those who are entitled to them. Then whatever remains is for the closest male relative." The siblings receive nothing because the father blocks them from inheritance. The estate is divided into six shares: one share for the mother, and five shares for the father.
