It is more virtuous for a woman to pray in her home, based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Do not prevent the female servants of Allah from the mosques of Allah, but their homes are better for them." This is because her prayer in her home offers more concealment and is further removed from temptation.

If a woman leads other women in prayer, she should stand in their midst, as this provides more concealment for her. This is also based on what was narrated from Aisha and Umm Salamah, may Allah be pleased with them both, that when they led women in prayer, they would stand in their row.
