How can one be among those who act upon the Quran, and when can one be assured that they have acted upon it, and is it possible to act upon all that is in it, and will the one who memorizes the Quran be punished if they do not act upon all that they have memorized?

A reciter of the Qur’an must believe in it and not abandon it. This involves three pillars: 1. Believing in all the information contained within it, deeming permissible what it has made permissible, deeming unlawful what it has made unlawful, and not disliking anything it has legislated. 2. Acting upon its commands to the best of one's ability and avoiding its prohibitions. If a Muslim limits themselves to the obligatory acts and avoids the forbidden, they will succeed. It is better, however, to strive in supererogatory acts. 3. Striving to recite and reflect upon it daily, and not neglecting it to the point of forgetting it.

A reciter of the Qur’an, like other people, is subject to punishment if they abandon an obligation or commit a forbidden act. However, their transgression is more severe because they were honored with the Qur’an but failed to show gratitude for this blessing.
