Will a person who commits many sins and frequently recites the Quran be rewarded, or is he among those who recite the Quran but do not act upon it?

The Qur'an is light and guidance, and its reciter must obey its commands and avoid its prohibitions. Whoever violates the Qur'an is not acting upon it in the specific part that was violated. Their good deeds are accepted, but with an incomplete acceptance compared to one who is upright. There is a fear that the deeds of a sinner may become nullified if they do not sincerely repent. Therefore, one must hasten to repent, continuously recite the Qur'an with contemplation, and ask Allah for the ability to act upon it and for protection (from sin).
