How can one begin to raise the fetus on Islamic values and accustom it to listening to the Noble Qur’an from the second month of pregnancy?
We thank the questioner for her interest in raising her children according to Islamic values. Righteous children are a reward for their parents in this world and the hereafter, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When a human being dies, all of his deeds are cut off except for three: a continuous charity, knowledge from which benefit is derived, or a righteous child who supplicates for him." The most important aid to righteous upbringing is a good example from the parents, and teaching the child correct pronunciation, the word of monotheism (), and short surahs, because the child's heart at its beginning is a blank page into which goodness must be instilled.
