Has God become wrathful toward one who returned to sin after repentance, and what is the way to restore guidance and God's pleasure?

One must hasten to sincere repentance and ponder upon the Names and Attributes of Allah, the severity of His punishment, death, standing before Allah, and Paradise and Hellfire. Much supplication, keeping company with the righteous, and attending gatherings of remembrance and knowledge will aid in this.
